*What are the hours for Ask a Librarian? E-mail – Monday-Friday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (Messages sent after hours will be answered the next work day.) IM - Monday–Thursday: 9 a.m.–8:30 p.m., Friday: 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (Messages sent after hours cannot be answered.) Text- Monday–Friday: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.-5 p.m. (Messages sent after hours will be answered the next work day.) *Which service should I use? E-mail: questions involving matters of fact and for help getting started with a research question, such as: Can you recommend some good Web sites for my project on France? IM: quick answers to library related questions or questions involving matters of fact, and to place items on hold, such as: Who won the Super Bowl in 1993? Text: questions involving matters of fact that can be answered briefly, such as: What is the number to XYZ Restaurant?
