Audiobook of the Year!

Everyone is familiar with the Grammys, the Emmys and the Tonys.  But do you know the Audies? Each spring the Audie Awards -sponsored by the Audio Publishers Association - recognizes distinction in audiobooks and spoken word entertainment.  On May 29th, the 2009 Audie Award winners were announced at a formal gala at the New York Historical Society.

Check out some of the award winning audiobooks below.  Click on an audiobook jacket cover to link directly to the catalog entry for each item.  As always, give us a ring at (803)929-3450 if 1431 staff can be of assistance.
