Pumpkins, gourds and squash, oh my! Fall is in the air and it's time to decorate.
I love bringing home those bumpy, misshapen gourds that are so ugly they’re cute! Of course the library can help me decorate with these little autumn cuties by offering a variety of books on the subject.
Everyone knows you can carve a pumpkin, but did you know you can also carve beautiful decorations into a gourd? Dry the gourd and keep it long after the pumpkin is in the mulch pile. Dried gourds also make beautiful additions to harvest-themed wreaths. And if you want to add a scarecrow to the fall motif, we also have a book on how to make one yourself. Let the library help you enjoy the fall in style!
