Library eBooks can be downloaded (for free!) directly onto the iPhone or Android with the OverDrive Media Console Application, V 2.0.

Get Set Up:

• Install Overdrive Media Console V 2.0 from the Apple App store or Android Market.
• visit myrcpl.lib.overdrive.com on your mobile browser or use the app’s “Get Books” function to set RCPL as your default library.
• Browse available eBooks (fiction & nonfiction)
• Find a title and click “Add to Cart”.
• Click “Proceed to Checkout” and enter your RCPL library card number and PIN.
• Click “Confirm Checkout”
• Click “Download”. The eBook will load into your OverDrive Media Console. You can choose to download it then or later.
• An Adobe ID is required to read eBooks on your iPhone. You will be prompted to enter your Adobe ID during your first book download. If you do not already have an Adobe ID, you can create one for free at the Adobe website.
