You can enjoy free library ebooks on your iPad. Follow these instructions to check out ebooks from RCPL.

  Wake up iPad.

Tap the App store to open.

Search for and download OverDrive App.

  Open OverDrive.

  Sign in with Adobe ID and password.  If you don't already have and Adobe ID, register at Adobe.com. *1st Time Set up only*

  Tap "Create an Adobe Account." *1st time set up only*

  Comeplete free Adobe membership form and tap "continue."  *1st time set up only*

  You have created a free Adobe account. *1st time set up only*

  Tap OverDrive app to open.  *1st time set up only*

  Tap "Settings."  *1st time set up only*

  Tap "Authorize."  *1st time set up only*

  Enter new Adobe ID and password, then tap "Authorize."  *1st time set up only*

  Tap "Bookshelf." *1st time set up only*

  Select "Get Books." *1st time set up only*

  Tap "Get Books" at the top right corner of the screen.

  Tap green circle to add a library.

  Search for library by name, city, or postal code.

  Tap "Available Formats."

  Browse or search to find a great book!

  Tap "add to cart" (Adobe EPUB eBook)

  Tap "Proceed to Checkout."

  Enter library card # and pin (last 4 digits of phone). 

  Tap "Confirm check out."

  Tap "Download."

  OverDrive will automatically open with eBook downloading.

  Tap eBook cover or title to open.

  Enjoy reading!
