A most memorable bride in Hollywood was Elizabeth Taylor. Both book covers have screen shots from her movie Father of the Bride. Along with Liz, Nicky Hilton, Richard Burton and Michael Wilding you will find Princess Grace’s wedding, Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio and Debbie Reynolds with Eddie Fisher.Turn the page and you will see Elizabeth’s wedding day kiss with second husband Eddie Fisher.

Movie screen shots include Ryan O’Neal and Ali McGraw (Love Story), Courtney Love in The People vs. Larry Flynt, The Bride of Frankenstein with Boris Karloff and Father of the Bride (1991) with Steve Martin. Check out Scarlett’s wedding dress when she married her first husband to make Ashley jealous. Queen Victoria started the white wedding tradition that included the bridesmaids. In the movies that caused a glare so the gowns were pink or pale blue. Sandy Schreier’s chapter “Always a Bridesmaid” shows a mix of movie and real life magic of wedding parties.
