Take home as many as 60 items with your card. Books, magazines, audio cassettes & CDs check out for three weeks (21 days). New books, s, CD-ROMS, & videos check out for one week (7 days).

Get More Time with Your Books

There are three easy ways to renew your library materials.

Call any RCPL location to renew. You only need your library card.

Use the automated system by calling 929-3425 or 929-3427. Just have your library card number and your PIN (usually the last four numbers of your phone number) ready.

Renew online. Just click the Catalog button on the side of the page, then click on My Account. Click Checked Out, highlight books to renew and click Renew.  

Get What You Want

If the item you want is not on the shelf, put a hold on it by using the online catalog at any RCPL location or on the Internet (click on the catalog button at the bottom of the page).

Returning Library Materials

If your books are late, it will cost you some money.  Most items will cost $0.20 a day.  Videos, s and CD-ROMS cost $0.75 a day.
