Friends' Book Sales

Each year, the Friends of RCPL sponsor four annual book sales and preview sales, raising more than $65,000 to support the library.

The public sales are held on Saturdays, but being a Friends' member allows you to attend a special Friday evening preview sale.

January 20 & 21, Winter Book Sale
Preview sale for Friends' members only: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Friday, January 20.
Public Sale: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, January 21.

April 13 & 14, Spring Book Sale
Preview sale for Friends' members only: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Friday, April 13
Public Sale: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 14.

July 13 & 14, Summer Book Sale

Directions

From I26W
Take the Bush River Road exit off of I26W. Turn left off the exit. The Book Sale is held in the RCPL Operations Center which will be about two blocks down on the right side of the road. The Operations Center shares a parking lot behind the Palmetto Citizens Credit Union which is across from the Ruby Tuesday restaurant and Dutch Square Mall.

From 126E
Take the Columbia/Bush River Road exit off of 126E. The exit splits and the Bush River Road exit will take you to the Book Sale. Take a right at the traffic light at the end of the exit. The Book Sale is held in the RCPL Operations Center which will be about two blocks down on the right side of the road. The Operations Center shares a parking lot behind the Palmetto Citizens Credit Union which is across from the Ruby Tuesday restaurant and Dutch Square Mall.

From I20E or I20W
Take the I26 exit towards Columbia. The next exit is Bush River Road. Take that exit. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left and go over the freeway. The Book Sale is held in the RCPL Operations Center which will be about two blocks down on the right side of the road. The Operations Center shares a parking lot behind the Palmetto Citizens Credit Union which is across from the Ruby Tuesday restaurant and Dutch Square Mall.
