Join RCPL's Summer Reading Clubs and get rewarded for reading! Children, teens and adults can register at any RCPL location through August 13.

Special Summer Reading Club celebrations will be held throughout the summer. Find out What’s Happening at your library or stop by any library location to pick up a calendar of events.

Summer Reading Club & Read-to-Me Club for ages 12 and under

Explore the world of books and feed your imagination at the library. Special recognition is given to children who read five, 10 and 15 books. Children too young to read can participate by having others read to them.

Read between the Rhymes for teens

Join the Summer Reading Club just for teens as it partners with 100.1 “The Beat.” Read or listen to five books and you'll get rewarded for reading with a gift certificate to Chick-fil-A and a coupon for a free book from a Friends of RCPL Book Sale! One lucky reader from each location will receive a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble and one lucky reader will win an eReader.  Sponsored by Geiger O'Cain Advertising.

Read & Relax for ages 18 and up

Everyone who reads or listens to five books will earn a small prize and a coupon for a free book from a Friends of RCPL Book Sale. Eleven lucky readers will win a gift certificate to Books-A-Million and a Friends of RCPL book bag. One grand prize winner will receive an eReader.
